This Imari table lamp is based on 17th century Japanese porcelain from Arita. It is produced using authentic underglaze decoration. The hand-painted organic pattern in strong decorative colours, unifies with the translucent glaze which in turn adds character and texture to the octagonal form.

Supplied as standard without a base. This lamp is photographed without a base, other options are available and the price will alter according to your selection.

Craftsmanship and Materials

This Imari table lamp is produced in an underglazed hand-decorated porcelain. Underglaze is a method of decorating ceramic where the pattern is applied to the surface before it is then glazed. This ensures the decoration remains completely durable and the surface of the ceramic has a uniform finish.

Available with a giltwood base or without a base.

As this is a hand painted piece the design can vary between vases.
