This Imari table lamp is based on 17th century Japanese porcelain from Arita. The lamp has a beautiful octagonal vase shape, finished in delicate floral hand decoration. The bold colour palette complements the translucent glaze, which adds character and texture.

This Imari table lamp is produced in an underglazed hand-decorated porcelain. Underglaze is a method of decorating ceramic where the pattern is applied to the surface before it is then glazed. This ensures the decoration remains completely durable and the surface of the ceramic has a uniform finish.
As this is a hand finished piece the design can vary between lamps.
The hand painted design ensures each lamp is unique.
