The Northington Collection offers an inspiring mix of new and reimagined designs.
The new collection is named after a village close to the Vaughans' home and the company headquarters in Winchester, Hampshire. Northington has long been connected with Lucy's family and with this heritage and longevity in mind, the pieces designed for this collection evoke the same sentiment of timeless design and enduring quality, rarely affected by fleeting trends.
Antique pieces are the design inspiration behind many of the new designs including the Ovington Wall Lantern. Some designs are given a new aesthetic or finish and some, such as the Farnham desk lamp and the Montferrat Chandelier, are reimaginings of earlier Vaughan designs.
Exceptional craftsmanship is fundamental to every new and reimagined design in the collection. From the distinctive sculpted leaves and pitted metalwork of the Montferrat chandelier to the intricate pierced fretwork detailing of the Hawley and Bentworth lanterns, many skilled techniques have been used in the making of these designs.
